WoodstockArts is dedicated to the experience that is Woodstock . . . its artists, writers and performers . . . its history and natural beauty. We publish books about the art and artists of Woodstock. And with a team of hospitality professionals, we host Herb Cottage and Rock City Writers Studio—vacation rentals that offer visitors a warm, welcoming and authentic Woodstock experience.

Herb Cottage was formerly an herb shop, and then a cottage, where herbalist, author and historian Anita M. Smith wrote WOODSTOCK HISTORY AND HEARSAY, the first history of Woodstock. Rock City Writers Studio (located in Woodstock's ''Rock City'' artist colony) was for many years an actual writer’s studio.
